Bob Peters, the owner of Explore Niagara NY, is a New York State Licensed Hiking Guide and New York safety certified in canoes and kayaks. Since 2012, Bob and his wife have spent summers at their home in Niagara Falls, NY where they have extended family. In the winter they live in Las Vegas, Nevada near their adult children and grandchildren. They recently sold their Las Vegas convention business to spend more time on the east coast.

While in Niagara Falls, Bob spends many weekdays hiking the Niagara River gorge. On summer weekends he manages a small concession cart at Whirlpool and Devils Hole State Parks along the Niagara River. He enjoys meeting and talking with tourists about their vacation plans and always recommends hiking the Niagara River gorge.

Bob discovered that many tourists have a strong interest in exploring the Niagara River gorge but are uneasy about navigating the trails, have a fear of getting lost, safety concerns, etc. Bob wanted to give tourists various adventure options and formed Explore Niagara NY.
